I’m pretty excited about this one! – the latest guest announcement for Comic Con Scotland (Aberdeen) 2026 has landed — and it’s one that’s sure to send a ripple of excitement through the fandom. David Hayter, the acclaimed screenwriter, actor and voice of Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series, will be heading to Aberdeen next year.

Beyond giving life (and gravelly authority) to one of gaming’s most iconic characters, he’s also the writer behind some of Hollywood’s biggest comic book adaptations — including X-Men, X2: X-Men United and Watchmen.
