Delta Green RPG: Operation Alice – Session 6

Delta Green: Restricted Case File

For Eyes Only:

Operational Summary:

• Status Update:
• Time: Night
• Location: Macallister Building, New York
• Objective:
• Continued search for Abigail Wright

Incident Log:
1. Encounter with Arcade Machine:

• Agents discover an old-style fairground arcade machine with a fortune-teller figure.
• Signage reads: “Tarot readings available here – you have so much to look forward to!”
• Button labeled “Press Here.”
• Agent Murdoch is hesitant; Agent Marvin less so; Agent Militia very eager.
• Pressing the button ejects three Tarot cards:
• ‘Les Amoureux’ for Agent Murdoch
• ‘Players’ for Agent Militia
• ‘Violence’ for Agent Marvin

2. Tarot

Agent Marvin:
• Marvin sees a room with a bed, crowbar, packing material, and wooden crates.
• Finds a leather trench coat, a full-face gas mask, and a pump shotgun (stamped 1954) in a crate.
• Vision: Marvin picks up the gun and mask, returns to the hallway, and without warning, shoots Militia and Murdoch.
• Intense sanity issues upon realizing it was a vivid vision.
Agent Murdoch:
• Murdoch hears sounds of lovemaking, followed by a scream.
• Enters to find a blood-soaked bed, shards of chromed metal, heroin paraphernalia, shotguns, and $150,000 in 1933 bills.
• Wall inscription: “WHERE IS MY BOTTLE?” in blue-black ichor.
• Severe sanity issues ensue.
Agent Militia:
• Hears sounds of a distant audience, laughter, applause, and fanfare.
• Recognizes the recitation of play lines, followed by military boot steps, then gunfire silences screams.
• All agents realize they experienced separate visions while still standing together, holding their Tarot cards.
• Reverse of each Tarot card bears the symbol of The Yellow King.
• Increased sanity and corruption issues.

4. Encounter with Vega/Michael Witwer:

• Agents reach a corridor with two medical tables.
• One table has a man tied down (identifies as “Vega,” later claims to be DEA agent Michael Witwer).
• Table retracts into the floor, man disappears, leaving agents to see a distant, pale face with empty eye sockets looking back.
• Second table reveals different figures to each agent:
• Militia sees his younger brother.
• Marvin sees his son.
• Murdoch sees his daughter.
• Figures burst into flames, leaving only charred blackness.

5. David Langford:

• Agents discover an emaciated man in a nearby cupboard, claiming to be David Langford, a cable-TV repairman.
• Langford has been trapped in the Night Floors since March, surviving on leftover food and drinks.
• Exhibits clear signs of trauma and begs for help to escape.

6. Meeting Officer Thomas Wright:

• Agents decide to escort Langford out, encounter a figure identified as Officer Thomas Wright, Abigail Wright’s father.
• Wright appears haggard and exhausted.
• Wright recounts finding a strange book with Abigail in February, altering her behavior.
• Claims to have uncovered troubling information about the Macallister Building and its architect but faced ‘roadblocks’.
• Wright is on paid suspension, suspects interference in his investigation after ‘rubbing up’ some of his superiors in trying to find his daughter. “If it was a cynical man I’d say someone is trying to stop me from finding the truth”. When asked, the agents tell him nothing of what they (think) they have discovered on the Night Floors.

7. Escape and Regroup:

• Agents agree to collaborate with Wright and take his contact information.
• Escort Langford to their car, debating their next steps.

8. Contact with Agent Marcus:

• Agents call their case officer, Agent Marcus, regarding Langford.
Marvin tells him they have found an ‘innocent’ and begins to recount some of their experiences but is immediately and roughly told to stop as soon as the word ‘King’ is mentioned. He tells them not to say anything more, the line is not secure and he doesn’t want to know anything more.
• Marcus instructs them to leave Langford at a deserted office block near The Dorchester House in Boston.

9. Preparation for Next Day:

• Agents return to their rooms, discuss research options for the next day.
• Plan to revisit the Night Floors the following night.

Agent Recommendations:

• Immediate psychological evaluation and support for all agents due to severe sanity impacts.
• Further investigation into the Macallister Building’s historical and structural anomalies.
• Examination of David Langford’s condition – potential for extreme action.

Conclusion:
The case at Macallister Building presents extreme psychological and paranormal threats. Agents should proceed with heightened caution, strict adherence to operational protocols, and continuous mental health monitoring.
