A couple of weeks ago we were delighted to be asked boy the folks at Evil Genius Games to help put the word out for the upcoming Kickstarter for their Return of the Living Dead Official TTRPG. You can see the little video that we put together just below.

Well it seems that we were not the only ones to be excited about this project as it passed the original goal in just over 3 hours when it went live earlier today!

The iconic 1985 film, Return of the Living Dead, was instrumental in defining the zombie genre. Our officially licensed tabletop roleplaying game, based on the Everyday Heroes™ system, celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Return of the Living Dead film franchise and provides endless adventure across 4 decades of Trioxin-fueled havoc.

George Romero’s original zombie masterpiece, Night of the Living Dead, was based on true events. However, Romero was forced to remove certain facts and the events were covered up. But now, the Living Dead are back with a Return of the Living Dead game world chock-full of morbid zombie mayhem.

The 126-page Return of the Living Dead Cinematic Sourcebook will be a softcover supplement for the Everyday Heroes system (you will need the Everyday Heroes Core Rulebook to understand and play its contents). This book provides everything you need to recreate the frightful events of 1969 and after, including the new Living Dead Origin, 3 new Classes, and a host of zombie statblocks. And, of course, we provide statblocks for all of the movie protagonists: Tarman, Trash, Julie Walker, and Riverman.
