Resheph III is a toxic furnace of a world. With an extremely dense, acidic atmosphere, nothing can survive long on this hellscape. This makes it the perfect place for Outpost Sigma, an off-the-books research site run by the Aspis Consortium. Even the scientists and engineers who work in secret there know little of what goes on in each other’s lab. And the miners who toil beneath the surface know better than to ask. Security is tight and no one outside of their corporate masters even knows that this place exists. But what happens when an earthquake devastates the outpost? What happens when power and life support begin to fail? What happens when the secrets locked in these labs find their way out?

The Specimen is a survival horror themed stand-alone homebrew adventure that includes four 9th-level pre-generated scientists and engineers who have one goal: to escape what remains of Outpost Sigma. But the clock is ticking, power is draining, life support is failing, and something has been set loose.
