The World’s First Bruce Campbell NFT!

*

So that’s two virtual Evil Dead watch party’s down – and both have been a terrific from all accounts! For those of you who missed out (including me for the 2nd one as it wasn’t available outside of North America due to some annoying and bothersome copyright reason), both the Evil Dead January watch party & this weekend’s Evil Dead II event saw fans experience Bruce Campbell’s movie memories, behind the scenes stories, anecdotes from the film and hilarious stories. Viewers also had the unique opportunity to participate in a live chat with Bruce where they commented and asked questions.

The feedback so far has been excellent – for example the 5D competition winner for passes to the event advised me that;

The stream went excellent for me. …… I have no complaints. Bruce was very informative and quite the talker as I’m sure you know🤣

*

And other comments included;

I thought it was awesome. Listening to his stories about scenes or props or cast or crew made the Evil Dead 2 experience all the more enjoyable. My favorite anecdote was when Bruce had been screaming for a scene and heard someone else on set screaming at the same time. Thinking the guy was mocking him he goes to find out. Turns out the guy was being electrocuted.

It’s three hours in the company of Bruce Campbell: what’s not to love? He looked sharp, is a great raconteur and knows the kind of film-making nitty-gritty that his audience wants to hear about. I also legitimately howled with laughter at the “screams coming from the rafters” story.

There was a lot that wasn’t covered in any DVD commentary I’ve heard before: I think the format of BC being able to halt the playback to go deep into a story – rather than the pace of the movie dictating which anecdotes he has to pick and choose – works really well.

Holding out for a Bubba Ho-Tep watchalong!

Bruce Campbell presents his first NFT video that thrusts viewers into a terrifying scene inspired by the legendary horror film classic, the Evil Dead.

*

This NFT was created to concretize the first Watch With virtual viewing experience, and capture the energy of the cult classic. This NFT video includes an autographed copy of the actual event poster signed by Bruce and “Ash”.

The winner of the bundle will be able to reach out to YX Studios by Verde 360 in order to arrange delivery of the autographed poster (proof of purchase is required). Download LightPlay on GooglePlay and the Apple Store to experience the Bruce Campbell NFT exhibit. There are 11 physical locations of the exhibit that can be found on the LightPlay App!

*

In fact, I’ll leave it up to the Groovy guy himself to fill you in with the details;

You asked for it, you got it. My first ever NFT! You know I either go big or go home and my first release is no different. This is an homage to all of the fans out there who’ve championed me & the Evil Dead franchise for all these years. It will be the 1st NFT in history capable of being displayed in real-world physical locations + like each of you it’s bigger than life. You can find it towering up to 50 feet tall for you and your friends to discover, snap pics while standing in front of it and post it all over social media. I’ll be dropping it in numerous locations including the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Times Square, Millennium Park, Bourbon Street and more.

Folks, it gets better. I’ve also created a NFT video that’s paired with a real actual autographed poster from the first Watch With event where I hung out with fans virtually, watched the film and told stories from behind-the-scenes.

Experience this whole new phenomenon by downloading the LightPlay app in the Google or Apple store, then find out all the places you can go to see it and go to the OpenSea marketplace to bid.

My fans always come first…so be the first! It’s really GROOVY!
